Well...you ain't goona replicate this by submitting your own coins for grading. (I have ZERO connection with either company) but MCM has pre-sale '16 First Strike MS70 bullion ASE's for sale at right around what it would cost you just to have your own coins graded ($37.80 check)..MS69's for $22.27 https://www.moderncoinmart.com/tags...paign=ME0248Guess the quality has improved with these bullion coins.... I think NCG has a significant market percentage over PCGS in ASE grading. PCGS is probably offering a lower price to try and gain market share. All my ASE are graded by NCG (2006,2011 sets). I think they look much better in the NCG plastic.

SO it would cost you and I $34 PLUS shipping/handling to have an ASE graded by PCGS with ZERO guarantee of getting a 70 back... ..and $37.80 with free shipping for a GUARANTEED 70 First Strike.... Hmmmm...what am I missing here? Full disclosure: I am not a fan of bullion grading but just trying to figure this out

Those prices don't make any sense to me. I find it hard to believe that NGC could be $6 higher than PCGS. Something is not right here. MCM and NGC are both HQed in Florida and I think they have good relations between their businesses. So I don't understand how PCGS can be that much lower.

I guess just buy the PCGS now before they hike the prices up. The NGC prices really don't make sense though.

Take a look at recent year sales of PCGS MS70 First Strikes on ebay. Most prices are just slightly higher than these. If you're getting them to flip, I don't think there's much upside based on this recent history. At the same time, I don't see any downside at all (other than bullion going lower). If you want one for your collection, they're a definite buy.

The link is broken but I have to assume it's the (w) bullion eagles from sealed and strapped monsters not the unc or proof fox

I just checked JM and they're not in the game yet. However, they have presale prices on u.s mint gold such that 24 K. Buffalos are a buck cheaper than 22 K. Eagles.
