Piecing together the various States of the European continent in the 18th century one copper coin at a time. A fascinating look at the various (and I do mean various) types of coins leaves a collector with infinite possibilities in this area of numismatics. Here is my first quartet of pieces stemming from German States. There is much history behind these everyday coins, a far cry from the silver pieces that were out of reach of the masses.
Those are amazing considering their age. There seems to be no end to coins I've never seen before so I appreciate that you're sharing your collection. Thanks.
I see coins like this, every once in a while, but have not given them much thought. But seeing them in a group, is making me want to pick up a few of them.
