i baught this coin off of ebay, it is a nice example of a coin that seems very elusive in any condition.i was lucky enough to get this coin which was unattributed. the coin IMO is a lower end 65 but how can I not be happy with a nice frosty 1935 SWL?

I couldn't help you with the price, but nice find!

2016 Charlton says $2000, but I'd think you wouldn't get near that much. Just my opinion, I'd say maybe a little less than half?

The 1935 is pretty common in 65 grade, depends on how nice of ms65 maybe 500.00 in todays market, there are many ms66 and a few 67 out there.

I think that all of the excitement is because of the weakness in the front water lines.

Very nice indeed...Woo..Hoo..!!

inspired by thedollarman, I just cherrypicked an SWL MS65 off the Canadian Coin & Currency website for about $340 with tax.

It's a sleeper in MS65 and up...there aren't many around..

the frequency of these seems to be roughly somewhere in the region of 1:30 to 1:40

it'll appreciate in value, through probably not too much...maybe double or triple a regular 1935
