So I today I came across this lot on ebay and seems to have nice guarantees but I have heard before that the seller is a scammer so I'm not sure to give it a try. 281422593368

I don't know if it's a scam or not but it does say you only get 10 notes, not all that are in the photo. John1

Take a look at his feedback. That should make you run somewhere else.

These auctions are an excellent way to stock up on culls.

The first second I saw this listing I knew this is a scam. Stay away from these type of listings. You'll thank us later !

I would not buy one of these lots.
I would not look at, what I might get as far as a good note.
I would look at what I most likely would get, low value notes.

while I agree that is particular auction isn't something I am interested in, I have seen this seller numerous times in my search results. I have never bought from him but from what I've seen/heard he is a decent seller.

I wouldn't buy anything without seeing a photo of what was for sale. You would basically be paying $74.50 for a 'grab-bag'. Grab-bags can be a lot of fun at charity auctions but for that kind of money you could have a lot more fun digging through the junk bins at a coin show.

As Charles Goren would say: PASS, and I completely agree with that sentiment.

What happens in these lots is you get one decent note and the rest is junk. Don't buy.

Thanks everyone for the advice decided to not buy it and instead I ended up purchasing a few large size notes and some red seals for my collection.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Anyway, hundreds in the picture are a red flag since the lot is just $75. They are certainly not going in any of the lots.

Isn't this the same seller that started that "bogus sealed jar of old coins" listing fad from last year?
I'd stay far away.

I can pretty much guarantee you which of the bills included in the pictures will not be in the lot you actually receive. Also, I find the following statement absolutely outrageous: Quote: One amazing thing about this listing is that every single item in each lot is guaranteed to be at least 45+ years old or older. That means that every item is from before 1970, incredible! Seriously? Before 1970? Like that actually means anything? And here's another howler: Quote: At this low of a price I would buy as many as I could. Right, which is why you're selling them at this price...
