Does this appear like it has been dipped? It has a somewhat dull grey appearance but I believe is uncirculated(I could be wrong).

It's an AU coin. There are literally thousands of 1880-O Morgans there were placed into circulation that ended up back in storage shortly thereafter as they were not needed.

Agree it's a high AU coin. Unc 1880 o are harder and therefore more $.
