Hi folks!
Long time collector of annual proof sets, Franklins and silver in general. My interest in coins, along with ham radio, were spurred by my grandfather when I was young. I have a new interest in Lincoln cents, so that's what originally brought me here.
It's great to find a community like this on the web, that seemingly has an answer for darn near anything!
I look forward to sharing in a wonderful hobby with all of you!

Ah, the Blue Ridge. Been to the top of Sharp Top Mountain several times, and vacationed at Peaks of Otter a number of times...though not for many years now. What a beautiful part of the country. |

I'm not originally from here. Moved to the area 2 years ago. Wonderful place to raise a family, and the scenery is gorgeous just about everywhere you turn. Peaks of Otter is pretty nice.....took the kids Apple picking there a few months back!

Cool. I love that area: Bedford, Smith Mountain Lake, etc. If you and the kids have not done the shuttle bus to the top of Sharp Top, I strongly recommend it...Assuming things haven't changed, the tix are available in the Peaks store. Lucky you, moving to that region.
