I see there are a lot of counterfeit threads and I think they're great. I always learn something from them. Wouldn't it be better to separate the topic into it's own forum? I'm not sure if it's necessary to separate into Classic/Moderns, though.

It has been this way from the beginning, typecoin, but I think the OP was stating that after the coins are taken off ebay the thread is moved into either the US modern or US classic section depending on what type of coin it is.

The forum I'd be recommending is not about reporting on ebay fraud but for the topic in general. The threads showing and explaining the differences between counterfeit and genuine coins can be quite valuable.

I think what is being suggested is a forum explaining, showing and discussing fakes. All fakes if possible.

If someone gets on CCF, goes to US Modern coins and does a search. They would not see any results from a US Counterfeit Coins section.
