No not at all that's why I am asking you guys. But that's clearly another S right below it...I searched the rpm list and there wasn't nothing close to it on there, but I'm usually wrong before I'm right

What's also weird it doesn't fit a small, large or normal date, the 9&S is low & high while the others are right

I do not see a phantom S. Can you produce a clear photo and indicate where it is? The location of the mint mark may vary, because they were still being hand punched.

Looks like a Large date to me (the curl of the 9 points to the mint mark). Too much glare on the top of the 9 to see what you are referencing.

From that pic I see a large date with no extra S.

I think I see what you are referring to as shown in the graphic, but don't think it is another S MM.

No there's an S in that weak south west corner. Trust me I spent way too much time looking at it & on the left side there's a clear T that is on the other side. This is the most jacked up coin I have found. I wish it was in better shape BC its a ddo-1

Perhaps your argument would be more convincing if you showed clear photos...

You most definitely do not have DDO-001 for two reasons- that die is not associated with an RPM and most importantly, the mintmark is not in the correct location for DDO-001.

One thing I am learning about collecting errors.
It is very easy to see something that is not there.(because we are looking for something that isn't supposed to be there). TheFranklin, trust these guys, many years ago they were beginners like us. They know what they are talking about!

Perhaps an in color clear photo would clear things up. When you try to hard to show the detail it sometimes makes it much harder to see.

It is were a punching from a mint mark punch, then it would be raised. It looks more like a stain on the coin and flat.
