My collection has grown beyond the two, 8"x14" plastic cases I acquired as part of a collection I purchased several years ago. I cannot find the same, or similar, or any suitable case for sale locally or on-line.

I really like the two cases I have because the dimensions fit well in my safe, the interior dividers can be moved, and the closure mechanism is on the outside of the case so once the case is full of flips, the flips do not get in the way of the closure mechanism when I close the case.

Can anyone recommend a good plastic (or other type of material) case with similar features to contain coins installed in 2"x2" flips? I don't know if links to websites with cases for sale are allowed, but it would be nice if someone would share/send me a useful link.

Thank you in advance!

Do you have a picture of the case?

From what you described the first thing that comes to mind would be a tackle box insert. Something like this. http://www.cabelas.com/product/fish...EQ_104620680

I'm guessing a mod will move this thread to the "Supplies, Books, Reference, Software, etc" section. Most 2X2 boxes I've seen are cardboard. There is a plastic Lighthouse box that holds 100 2X2s that I think looks decent.

EDIT: Yep, I was right about it getting moved. ;)

Thanks to JBuck for moving my topic.

I'll take photos of the boxes I have and post them after I get home tonight to give you an idea what my existing boxes look like.

The cabelas link didn't work for me, but I am at work so it may be blocked. I'll try it from home tonight.

I appreciate the link to the Wizard site, but am trying to be more consistent with the type box I keep my flips in so would rather not buy the "lighthouse" variety at this point.

Thank you to all so far :)

Photos of the style case I have and would like to find are shown below. Dimensions are 9"x13".

Note: Cabelas link doesn't work from my home either :(

I searched hi and low and I found what I think is the exact box you have. Its a hardware organizer.

Wbarkley, you're amazing, thanks! The only drawback is the company offers only air shipping to my location. The lowest shipping option to me is $55. I'll have wait to order until I'm in the contiguous states which will be this summer :(

But I guarantee you I'll be ordering more than one of these...thanks again!

I was actually really excited when I found it! That looks like a neat way to store bulk 2x2's inexpensivly. I might have to order a few myself if you don't mind me borrowing the idea.

Try JoAnn Fabrics. I have the same type of box for my supplies.

Each row looks similar to the blue Whitman plastic boxes, with 3 removable dividers, they may be more easily found and shipped to you. Just a thought.

Whenever I am at one of the big box chain stores I look for these types of storage boxex. They can be found in the craft, hardware, automotive and plumbing supply departments. Sometimes a box of sorted craft beads will sell for less than the same empty box from another department. Right now bead craft is popular with the kids so there is a good selection and competetive prices.
