Picked up this coin today, to fill one of the empty holes
in my Dansco.

I feel my set will end up a middle class/middle grade set.
So I am not minding the rim ding and the light scratch on
Gov. Kiley's cheek.

I do like having another hole filled.

I like it. Much better choice than the "common" commemorative issues. There is nothing wrong with a mid grade set as long as you enjoy it. There are plenty of collectors who dream of having a coin just like this.

A nice piece that appears to have spent a bit of time in honest circulation.

Congrats on the acquisition and filling another hole!

That coin has eye appeal. I like it. In which album did it fill a hole?

Thanks all

It fills a hole in my Dansco classic commemorative type album.
I started it not long ago, and only have 9 of the 50 holes filled.

Every surviving classic silver commemorative is IMHO a treasure and worthy of our interest.

Well done GR58 to save this example for your collection.

There are a number of CCF threads speaking about the history and story of this coin ... I generally refer folks to commems exceptional input.

To your coin ... appears by photo to be an honest, lightly circulated example.

To your Dansco quest ... congratulations on 9 of 50 filled! It's a somewhat challenging set ... we are here to support your efforts.
