I haven't seen one or tried to grade one like this before.
Very Interesting!
Obviously the coin has nice fields but how is it possible to grade it a MS65?
I don't believe that PCGS would grade the same.
Please explain...Thanks.

it's a nice coin. The fields are also really clean, so ICCS MS65 is what I expected. But yes darryldarryl, I'm not too sure what PCGS would give it. I know they are harsher on the bust than the fields, and considering this coin (and what's happening on the queen), might be a 64? Maybe someone with more PCGS experience can give a clearer answer

PCGS would grade this coin much lower.

Doesn't mean ICCS is wrong.

Just that they both have different grading standards and philosophies.

US coins have a much higher relief than our Canadian coins and for this reason, PCGS pays more attention to the high relief points and they don't weigh the fields as strongly as ICCS does.

For this reason, everyone is right in saying PCGS would grade this coin ms64 and possibly lower.
