Someone cleaned it, and it has a lot of nicks and bag marks. What 'details' grade would it make?

VG-8 details. That's an educated guess, but then most of these are. Almost looks like it was cleaned with a metal brush. Some nasty scratches going on.

I bought this off ebay a long time ago. It was cheap, but it was still a waste of money, and a lesson in what to look out for in sellers.

It actually looks decent, but artificial, from a few inches away; it's not till you get closer that you realize the abuse that was done.

I've been collecting a year now. I almost have enough material (coins) to write a book. I can think of a few titles for the book, but inappropriate to share. Man, I'm glad I found you all.
