T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 01/17/2016 08:52 am I'm about the color. the tip of the longest feather on obverse is weak. besides not having a split tail I think It's not that bad of a Buffalo nickel. most are known to have numerous striking issues. kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 01/17/2016 10:20 am Tough call. It really needs an in-hand, close-up look. Strike appears to be slightly soft (flat horn; weak tail split). But what REALLY catches my eye is the hip bone. That's a key diagnostic area since it's an unprotected high point. Note that the color is a bit different (luster break). I wouldn't be surprised if the coin turned out to be AU-58. Report this Post to the Staff
