A fair number of the early Soviet coins do feature die clashes especially from 1920s to 1940s. This becomes less common by 1950s however do show up in later Soviet coins.

I do believe I have another 1946 coin with such feature. Photos aren't too terribly great on this one.

gx: this is true. I was happy to find one for my WW 1946 year date collection, regardless of its common nature.
