I recently received some ones in change from a restaurant. When I got back to work, I went to put bills back in my wallet and one was different in size. The total length is 5 9/16" X 2 3/8" tall. I work in a bank for 15 yrs and seen many fake bills, this one appears to be genuine. The border measures 1/16" on top and bottom and 1/8" on ends of the face. I've never seen anything like it, I believe it is a 2002 series but I left the bill in my desk, so I'm not 100% on year. Any help?

If the size is off and the white outlines are around the correct depth....it's a fake

I would agree but, the feel is good. The currency pen idicated good and the currency counter (which can locate fakes) all indicate a good bill. It just appears as if it shrunk. I will post a pic tomorrow after work.

Some hustler tried to sell one on ebay a couple of months ago. The bill was genuine but someone had dipped it in something like liquid nitrogen or similar. A friend told me they did things like that where he worked. It actually shrinks the bill. Have fun with yours.

I have pics but they are larger than the allowable file size. Can anyone help with resizing?

Oops, I meant to indicate that the other workers did it. My friend was upset that they were doing things like that at work.

First rule,

NEVER, EVER use that stinking counterfiet pen. They are useless.

If you go to downloads.com search for and download Irfanview. It's a photo editor that makes resizing a breeze. Under "image" choose "resize/resample"-- simple as that!

Second rule:

Never, ever ask the guys at work that screw around with the liquid nitrogen to house sit for you when you go out of town.
