I am familiar with baypreciousmetals, our store has done business with them before. 100% satisfied with my experience with them!

Stupid with a capital S! The only way I'd get that is if it was well below spot.

Haha...I think I'll stick with the regular RCM 10-ounce silver bar sans ebay logo.

Nothing stupid about it from my point of view. Banks and other companies have teamed up with the likes of Johnson Matthey And Engelhard in the past to produce advertising bars .There is even a catalogue on art and advertising silver bars and rounds. They make an interesting collectible.

They teamed up to move product. RCM is doing what happened in the baseball card market. Every possible angle. Why not, before others catch on and do it. Not everyone likes it. It's a collectible. Appears to have a privy mark of 16. So they will make them each year? A series? Low minted numbers are sure to have a premium. Most popular Government bullion bar teamed up with most popular selling site. Genius. Those that hate it can buy generic bars for the same price or keep buying what they like. I think this is better than most things Franklin Mint, Hamilton Mint and most 3rd world countries whom I've never heard of silver coins I see.

I have purchased from Bay Precious Metals before with no issues. At first when I read "First Ever" and saw the #1 serial number picture I thought the auction was for the #1 serial numbered bar. Anywho like it or not as others have said people will pay more for the "limited edition" or "First Strike" or "Really Release" gimmick. I think the current price of $153 is actually a pretty good price since you get free shipping and can pay with a credit card / Paypal. Provident currently has their own 10oz bars for $156.77 credit price. Of course those of us who are serious about maximizing our profit margin always mail checks and pay the discounted cash price from the big online retailers.

85% sold. I just noticed this. Weird but cool. Not sure where I stand with it. Coins and Bullion to me usually represent old antiques, and to have websites on them is an odd thing to me. (even though the internet is nearing its quarter life crisis)

It's still bullion. If the numbers make sense, who cares what's stamped on it?

Oh I don't. I just find it strange is all. Like when country singers sing about emails. Just seems out of place. :)
