So I have bought and sold hundreds of these XWLs. I bought a mint roll off ebay a couple months ago, there was some beautiful coins in there, they all have a nice cameo finish. I sent them all off to ICCS but I'm doubtful there is and MS64s in there, I'm still waiting for them to come back. In the meantime, I bought a collection off someone and he had a 64xwl in there. This coin has a strong hazing on it. But looking beyond the hazing, there is not too many marks on it. I'm thinking it's an MS63 but I'm hopefull its an MS64. Any thoughts from the community? It show a very pleasing obverse with 1 notable Mark in the field near the R of Regina. The reverse shows a mark beside the middle A of Canada which gets camouflaged because its on the same angle. What you see as a scratch beside the C and going up towards the waterlines is not actually a scratch, looks like its within the hazing. Edited by XWLCoins 01/20/2016 6:33 pm

Nice coin! MS63 The mark to the left of the R is just too distracting.

Quote: The mark to the left of the R is just too distracting If it wasn't there, I'd give it a pretty easy 64 but that Mark is just too eye catching, I agree. Il probably send it in to ICCS anyways eventually. Once I get my next hundred Coins ready :) If anyone else sees an MS64 here, please share.

ICCS is more sensitive on the fields, which is why I'm half and half. But if you're sending a bunch of coins in, you might as well

Quote: The beaver looks to be worn.... It's not wear. It is not fully struck. Quite typical for these coins.

I believe it would be a MS63 at best - the scratch near the A in Canada on the reverse, the dot in the field on the obverse, also bag marks on the hump of the beaver

I'd say yours is MS60 Canacoins. That's alot of marks. MS60 is a very typical grade for these coins. Nice Cameo on yours tho!
