Hi

Do the UK have mint or proof sets past 2004 ?
The 2015 Krause book shows sets stop at 2004. Is this correct?
I did a quick search online and can't find nothing.

Thxs

Funny...I recall seeing entries for 2008, 2009, and 2010 British proof coins...not sure if they still sell sets though.

Krause is out of date a little, proof and mint sets have been issued for each year. However the mint had put the price up extortionately - this years proof set is a whopping £145.

You are right, I have noticed some very high prices on newer sets. I will stir clear.

Do they hold their value? It's not something I'm particularly interested in - but at that price you'd like to think the secondary market would be strong.
