I like the shot of the ASE next to the walker. Pretty cool.

Also - I just so happen to have a '42 walker on my desk!

Been trying to tone mine and use it as a pocket piece at the same time. It's kinda like a time share program but I don't know if the goals conflict too much haha.

Thanks Celticknot

Bertensgrad,

I dont think its going to tone if its in your pocket and being rubbed.....you will get wear on the coin but not the toning......I took another coin I had toning and rubbed it a bit with a soft cloth and the toning rubbed off, not completely but it got lighter. I believe the toning my coins are receiving is an effect of cooking in the house. When the toning came off a dirty slightly oily residue was left on the cloth.

I also think that if you toned it first then used it as a pocket piece you would eventually lose the toning also. So its either tone and dont touch or touch and dont tone....your choice lol.

I'm trying to get s circulated Walker look. So I'm looking for toning in the crevices and protected spots. Wheter this is toning or dirt idk haha. It's starting to do it a little bit already. Not looking for toning everywhere. At most a cameo. I just want it to look like its a 100 years old in about 18 years. No colors besides grey or black.

Bert, that look is 90% grime. The oils dirt and gunk built up from passing through many hands. Not sure how you can self replicate it but keep us updated

Hm I might be replicating it already haha. I deal with soil a lot and I touch the dollar a lot without washing my hand between them. I let my cousins and brother touch it too when they want to see it. So might happen pretty fast lol. I guess I kinda don't want to think about it it's starting to show up in just a few weeks.
