I have been slowly working on putting this set together,
and I am down to one hole. I have been watching ebay, but
the ones I have been watching have went higher than I want.
I am pretty sure one will be the right price soon, trying
to fight the urge to just buy the last one, and pay more
than I want to.

Here is what I have so far.

As Y'all can see I still need the 1992 Columbus Proof.

Also

Dansco, for some reason decided to leave two blank hole
at the end of each volume.

For the empty holes at the end of this Volume, I decided
to fill them with Two 40% Bicentennial Ike dollars.

One - Because I think the modern Commemoratives started
with the Bicentennial coins of 1975 - 1976.

Two - Just another good place to put two Ike dollars

Three - Because it is my album and I will do as I wish

Oh .. and because Jbuck might like it

After filling that last hole, I might focus on Volume two
or volume three.

Both these albums will be more expensive than Volume One.

For volume two I still have 19 empty holes, all proof
For volume three I have 17 empty holes.

I do not have the Dansco for volume four, but I do have
a few coins ready to go into it, once I get it.

Very nice! Always cool to look at a complete album and appreciate the effort it took to fill it.

You should be able to get the Columbus for a good price - there are plenty of them out there!

Happy hunting!

Your right ... one will come along. There out there for
$25 to $30 ... I just feel if I hold out, I will get one
for $15 to $20.

In fact I stopped at a LCS when I went out to lunch.
They ask me to get them list of the coins I still need,
and they will try to get me a good deal on the ones I need.
