I had gotten a new roll of N.Dakota Quarters and in the middle of the roll, there were 12 Quarters with the exact crack on them. Can anyone tell me what it is exacly and how common it is? Here I put a group pic and an upclose pic of three different quarter.

That's not a die break, nor is it a die crack. It's caused by die wear and die damage. It adds nothing to the value of the coins, and with all that mottling in the fields, I would hazard to say none of the coins in the roll could grade above MS65...all spenders.

For a decent high grade coin you'll have to look for coins that don't have this common 'greasy look' anomaly in the fields. It can be tough.

Basically, what you show here are the coins to be avoided (spent)...not the 'coins to collect'.
