Forgot one. This 1887 is a dark chocolatey red color, but is nicely struck up and sharp. How would you grade it? Member ANA - EAC - TNA - SSDC - CCT #890 "Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done." -- Louis D. Brandeis

Hard to say being in the 2x2 but I would say VF-25 maybe VF-30.

Natural VF 30, decent strike, slight environmental damage, no hint of cleaning. Probably not a high enough grade to warrant a certification fee.

I won't usually slab coins until the $100+ mark or more, and this is quite a bit below that level :P

I think the surfaces are too dark as well, agree with Froggy, ED Details.

I'd give it a MS-60 grade but the coin appears to have been cleaned.

Wow...I wrote my grade prior to reading others. I'm the only one that graded above EF-40. I don't see any wear on this one at all
