The obverse looks like a drop dead fake. Wrong LIBERTY, the IBE should be weak, with a re-cut RTY strong. The motto is wrong, the WE should be weak and mushy, and the date is wrong, the middle 2 should be obviously stronger than the second outside 2....but, the reverse looks ok. Have never seen a weak reverse fake before. The only die pair it could be if legit is a die pair 1 (but I don't see the die crack,) because die pair 3 would have the smeared O on the reverse, and it's definite not die 2 or 4. But I still say fake. Compared it with a few on Heritage, and it just doesn't match. 172079751951

The die crack on die pair 1 is not always present. If this is a fake, it is an excellent one. I would be hesitant to consider it a fake without seeing it in hand.

IGWT seems too sharp to match any of the die pairs. Plus I see a casting pimple over the L in LIBERTY and over the R in TRUST.

Bobby's example is the best case for it being real. Yes, the die crack is not always present, but even though it's a weak reverse, the reverse should have less wear, and doesn't match the obverse for the relative condition. I also agree with TC971793 that IGWT is a too sharp. WE is definitely too sharp. The coin would be AU in that case, showing almost no wear on the motto, but the reverse doesn't bear that out. Also if you look at both seller's obverse photos, the L is totally away from the rim, there's definitely space between the L and the rim, and that should not be.

Without having coin in hand it is hard to say but if you have a uv light you can tilt the coin under it sometimes that helps to see if there was an impression of a d.i have done it with Buffalo nickels that you can't make the date out I have never tried a penny but I would think it might work the same.

Setting aside all of the good information above, it should be pretty obvious that anyone who wants to maximize their selling price would have such a coin certified. The certification would easily pay for itself with the higher realized selling price. Unless I knew that it was 100% real without any doubt, there's no way I'd touch it with a 10 foot pole.
