Yes. I think it comes from a set of miniatures (63 bars) from the Franklin mint. Crazy what we find!

That is seriously nuts. Silver in a cent roll. Congratulations.

Thanks! I got a 1942 Mercury dime once from a cent roll. This one though made that lovely familiar ring as it fell out.

Thanks for looking folks. Finding silver on a copper excursion (zinc too) is always welcome! Probably only worth a couple bucks, but hey...why not!

I have a bunch of CWRs left to search from this customer. Could lightning strike again? Doubtful, but I hope so...it's worth a second chuckle!

wow, from a cwr? Could the person really have missed that unintentionally? I could see it being dumped into a machine and re-rolled, but in a roll? nice pic too.

Nice! Too bad you didn't get the whole car in the roll.

Almost Numisma - doing the quick research the search engine turned up a few restored 1901 Oldsmobiles. Pretty interesting vehicles! It's kind of neat when something odd like this, or the ring from the other thread, get people thinking about unrelated things that become intertwined for a moment in time. I probably wouldn't have looked at pictures of the real thing otherwise. Here are the front and back shots of the cleaned up mini-bar of sterling -
