Peace dollar is completely illegal under the HPA unless it is marked COPY.
One of the things included under HPA are:

The term shall not include any re-issue or re-strike of any original numismatic item by the United States or any foreign government.
The "coin like item" appearing in this thread looks like a US
Peace dollar even though it carries the wrong date. These could be used to defraud unsuspecting individuals who would reasonably expect them to be silver. They even read Dollar and say United States of America.
Remember the grounds upon which the US Government convicted Bernard von NotHaus.

Here is the coin the US Government said violated the law in part because it

Oddly the Liberty Dollars are now collected at a premium precisely because of their notoriety and this includes counterfeit collectors who view them as a form of counterfeit.
