1956 Jefferson nickel Proof WDDO-001 Top 100 Best of Varieties

I snagged this off ebay in PF 66 Anacs holder and it had no bidders

It was extremely hard to photograph... there are 5 line on bottom of IN

Quintupled Die Obverse <-- 5 times the charm...

There is also a Quintupled Die Obverse on a 1967 SMS Kennedy half dollar, 1950 Franklin and a 1964-D Kennedy half dollar

Five distinct images can be seen on the lower portion of I of IN

I have my list of "best of" Jefferson nickel varieties from Brians variety coins but it's not top 100

quintupled die. Five distinct images can be seen on the lower portion of I of IN.

I see no matching markers. But you might try to imitate the angles of light from Brian's images. Looks like most of his images the light is coming from the lower part of the devices. Diffused a lot. (because this is a proof coin) But maybe the light angles will help show the quad die better if you match it to his images. Your images are showing a 3:00 light source. Diffused better and match what his setup is, might help a lot more. I see some doubling on your coin, but the over all shape of the devices look different.

yeah photos are from before I learned a lot more about taking pictures I think they even at an extreme angle I didn't have camera stand yet.

I still have hard time with slabbed coins but yeah a redo is needed.

I will try again

The Top 100 Best of Varieties must be an ANACS listing.

I would think a CONECA listing of the top 100. I know they have a top 100 of the RPMs.
