1865 Plain 5 2c Variety? - Coin Community Forum

epikur Pillar of the Community Sweden 729 Posts	Posted 02/14/2016 07:58 am Hi all. I have a 1865 plain 5 2c, NGC AU58 I'm having trouble attributing. Don't own any of the literature, and coinfact doesn't have all the listed varieties listed with pictures. the closest I got was FS-101 http://www.PCGScoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/38250 But the Doubling of 18 doesn't really match up Can anyone help out? kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 02/15/2016 08:50 am The letters look like they have Longacre doubling. The date is repunched (RPD) and appears to be KF-P6-RPD (from Kevin Flynn's book). Report this Post to the Staff
