I am having a hard time figuring a grade for this one. The reverse seems to be VG10-F12 but the obverse is a bit more difficult for me - maybe G6-VG8? Possibly cleaned too?

Any help in narrowing it down is appreciated.

The reverse is just a little better than the obverse. Overall I would grade it VG-8.

The auction says G+ and I'd go with it. Might make VG8 but that's quibbles. The price seems a bit high.

Obverse is G6 or so but rim damage and lots of deep scratches..ouch. Reverse better.

At the price it's not too bad of a deal, though.

with VG-08. Price is average, neither high or low. If your looking for a type coin you can often find these in the auction format in the VF-20 to VF-25 range for about $90-$105.

If you have patience and a bigger budget I'd wait for a no questions sweety rather than a :O-hum.

Wear wise, VG-8, but discount it for the scratches and rim ding. Could certainly find a better example for the money with some patience.

Ask if it has a slight bend. Probably doesn't but it might due to the wear patterns on the rim.
