Hi all -- new to this forum; have lurked for a while. Thanks for all your coin collecting wisdom.

Just picked this coin up. Thoughts on grade? I am scared it has been cleaned... thoughts?

Maybe VF30 with that band being so flat..and most of, or not all of the luster missing in the fields..

Maybe rubbed or cleaned..the experts here will know for sure..

I'm at VF30 as well, right on the border of being EF40. There has been some kind of cleaning though

I agree with the cleaning.. looks like it was clean a long time ago though.... and I'm also at VF for grade.

Your coin looks like it may have been lightly cleaned at one point and the grade almost makes EF-40 but, I'll say VF-30

I'll say a PCGS ef45, I don't see evidence of a cleaning or alteration. Who know where the grade would be with ICCS though. Prob a vf 35?

I agree light old cleaning and a very nice vf-30 so close to Ef but clearly not (based on this picture). I don't think the light cleaning really changes the value to much nor do I think ICCS would attribute it.
