I'm still novice to the error hunting and I am asking if this is circulation or mint error? If someone would help me clarify the damage without a stern lecture I would appreciate it. Thank you.

That is what I thought from the marks. It just didn't make sense with some of the articles I've read. Thank you.

Here is a 2007 Wyoming Quarter that has some Cud? errors? Behind the hind legs and right hoof there are some spots as well near the top of the horses' head there is a mark not common. Any help?

those are probably die "chips"...cuds occur along the rim of the coin. keep searching and asking questions...the knowledge is available..

I just found it odd that these chips and locations were not consistent anywhere else. Some of the chips 1st looked like some overlaping as the upper hind legs is the 1st area I noticed because it was most blatant.

First clue on the OPs dime is the rim area. Not how it is disturbed. A sure sign that coin has been altered, either on purpose or from circulation damage. That is what I look for first on a coin.

BigKidsKollect,
I had split your quarter to its own thread. You should have gotten an email, please check for it.

https://goccf.com/t/253669#2137468@Fuzzy317 I didnt want to do too many threads as a novice like me tends to be annoying with fact finding. Would the community prefer all my coin oddity questions be on one thread so it doesn't take away from other members and their threads? Please let me know as I don't want to step on toes as I am learning the facts. Thank you.

posting about two coins in the same thread is okay, but the type of error/damage of the two coins were so different that I felt they needed their own thread. If your thread title had not been so specific to one coin, I may not have acted.

Best to put the year/denomination on the thread title. If someone wanted to do a search, it would be an easier find with that information.
