I've never come across one but the coin facts obverse looks very much different with the scuff on the cheek and below the bust in the PCGS picture but not on the actual coin photo on ebayhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/262267979864

I see nothing immediately wrong with it. Could just be different lighting angles hiding the scuff your seeing from different photos possibly. Looks like a real nice 1900 o proof like to me. Also seller has exceptional feedback son that helps too. If it was a seller with little to no feedback from another country then I'd take it on a grain of salt.

Also, the mint mark and the letter D in Dollar don't appear to match.

Too many similarities for it to be a fake, just on the obverse.

It looks like it's been photo shopped to me.

Keep in mind the PCGS photography is going to be much more honest than what you see in ebay photos. Depending on lighting conditions, even if not photo shopped, a good photographer can make most apparent flaws disappear. Great Southern Coins, in particular, are masters at this - they can make an AU coin look gem brilliant uncirculated. I'm fairly confident the coin and holder are genuine but the photo is probably a "glamor shot"

The cheek has been photoshopped.
Very obvious to me.
I just emailed the seller telling him so.
I further requested he block me as a buyer.

Interesting post of this coin. I was considering making an offer on the coin last week as the coin has excellent contrast and solid mirrors for a 1900 O MS65PL. The difference between the seller's photos and PCGS photos did not bother me, but the seller was trying to make the coin out like a MS66. This coin did have the heavy die polish lines above the eagles head that is typical for the date. What got me off the coin was the price as the value of the coin is about $500. I choose to make my $500 offer on the coin below a 1900 O MS65PL in a OGH holder. I now own this coin:

I would agree the cheek looks very photoshopped to me. Rather disappointing :(

It's a nice coin, genuine, but not as good as the photo has been made to look.

Photo has been heavily altered.
Seller should be reported for listing violation. Image depicted is not actual product being sold but this is not stated.
