I found a cool double pack of playing cards and thought you guys would have get a kick out of it. It has a Morgan dollar half dollar and a lot of foreign coins.

Brand is Lady Baltimore, I'm guessing mid to late 60's from the box coins brand and fonts etc. I'm kinda a fan of vintage playing cards. I'm not a collector but I sell a ton of vintage decks I find on ebay when I can find them.

Yeah they are, and 54 cards each. You be surprised how often they survive.

I have good luck finding them. Along with these I found several 1920's-1950's card decks still unopened. I think someone collection was dumped cause I got 10 lots about 18 decks by the lb. It was a super thirft store day. When I see decks like this I see $ for coins. I betting I get $10-$20 and shipping for each lot. I have experience selling 12 similar decks in the past. While they are somewhat heavy, I only paid .99 cents a lb.

I'm also a bit of a collector when it comes to playing cards. No Morgan motif that I see there, but the psuedo-Kennedy reverse certainly dates them as post-1963.

Morgan dollar is on bottom left of card, the coin directly below the half dollar. The light made the designs on bottom not show up as well. It's small and sorta crude.

It's funny how you can date cards a lot by what sorta of fonts and designs they use for the face cards. This set annoyed me because the calling card only said made in USA rather the city and company. I didn't notice the brand printed in the plastic c ASE

When I read the title ,I was thinking that coins were on the faces of the cards.Couldn't imagine how that would work.Curiosity got me so I had to look to see if a Joker was shown.I've collected quite a few Jokers over the years since they get tossed when a deck gets opened.Interesting set with significance for collectors.

Yeah all the face cards are pretty boring close to modern. I usually don't bother with cards this new unless the theme on the back could attract people, or when I get them super cheap. Most of the time I get them for like .99 a pack but in this case it was .99 a pound which made 1/3 as expensive as usual.. I try to post a better older deck in a few minutes, like maybe a Arrco.

These are typically what I sell and go after. I already have these listed. The good box stream line post Art Deco design gives me chills :). The floral pattern is a bit boring but it's acceptable. The jokers are interesting with the seated juggling balls and the advertising joker. I'm pretty sure it's immediate post war late 1940's-1950's. Arrco is my favorite brand over bigelow.

This is my haul from Saturday night. About $3. Soon to be turn into silver walkers haha. I haven't had time to process most of them. I got over 80 pounds last week of stuff to process for booths and ebay. These was smaller and more enjoyable so I saved them until I could sort most of the haul.

Yeah I know the queen slippers is modern but to get them to the US customs shipping and taxes is around $30. Makes them pretty rare in the US where I am.

Very interesting! I may have to buy an older deck or two sometime. For cards I actually play with, I'm loyal to Bicycle, though. Try getting a deck of Bicycle Prestige cards and you'll never be able to play with anything else. Definitely worth the extra money.

I ended up listing this deck on my ebay store along with the others as I go through them. We see if they go faster the normal ones or not. I have a few people who follow me who just collect card decks.
