1972 Kennedy Half Doubling Reverse Legends

Got this 1972 Kennedy half and noticed the DO in DOLLAR
are doubled at the bottom. Kind of a streaky doubling
with fine grooves and a vague step like appearance. See
the top of the stars above same feature. Looks like die
deterioration. Not used to your coinage, but know
something is off.

Slight machine damage on the die. Moved a bit south. On the larger denominations, the happens a lot. Sometimes finding a normal coin is easier than finding on without MD.
