I'm not heavily involved in coins as I have too much jewelry to get rid of first - but I'm always interested, and will help where and when I can. Mike2016 New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 02/27/2016 9:19 pm Hi All, I started collecting coins when I was in Germany (Dad was in the Air Force) in the 60's and I received my first 1916 Mercury dime in change at the local Air Base comic book store. I have been collecting and am now getting my son interested in coins. I collect mainly the coins I get in change, but, have purchased some from the mints. I am always looking at coins...I might be weird, but, I like the pocket carried coins that show wear the best. I guess I just like looking at them and wondering where they have traveled. I live in Wrenshall, Mn Married with a son. Looking to talk about various coins I have no clue about. FUN Report this Post to the Staff

You are correct..These coins talk and every one in my collection have a story and are worth more than there colletor value to me. I can remember every one. Each coin has a memory and a story of my "Pocket Collected Coins". Wow...You just brought back some very great memories..just thinking about my favorite coins that I haven't thought about in years.
