For the most part I would say no, especially on the higher denominations, but it's a personal choice.

Please give us the Series #s on the Silver Certificates - these might well be exceptions.

As a general rule a low SN is three diget or less and a low run is 360,000 or less, those would be keepers. I would not keep any but the silver cert.

Free - not talking about the serial number, but the Series number, found lower on the note on the right side of the portrait. Like "Series of..."

Free - you got it. Well-circulated stars from the 1957 Series of S/Cs have little if any premium.

well we always get our money for face value so I believe we can keep collecting stars and may only profit a couple of dollars but allot of people we talk to dont know what stars are so we keep everyone we come across if we can.

Actually I keep basically all of the star notes that I find. I have many silver certificate stars as well. As long as they are in good shape they are saved.

I do too... but then again I really don't come across that many stars in the wild and then they are almost exclusively $1 notes. Any other star denominations are purchases typically and are crisp(ish).

If I were tying up tons of cash in well-circulated stars, I'd reconsider that strategy.
