Actually, this is the scarcer 1934 Series, not the common 1934A. Might make VF. Value closer to $500 in reality.

The series 1934 with a back plate number of 317 and lower and serial 30865941-56729843 Would pull 500 in VF.
This 1934 Mule has a back plate of 417 and doesn't fall within that category.. I Dont see this note pulling anymore then $100 TOPS

You have some very nice Hawaii notes, xinfantry. This one's in better shape than your short snorter but they're both solid.
Where did you happen upon these?
I love those Julian and Morganthaler signatures!

CelticKnot I have 3 of them 2, $1 and 1, $20.. I got these 3 from a dealer that sold them to me for 10% above face value. I could not pass them up.

Yeah, at 10% above face I'd buy them too. Nice score.

Dealer selling these at 10% over face value. He must live in a van down by the river.

@Notehunter494,, That is what I said when I had seen it, they were on a discount table, and when I got these out of the safe too post them the other day on here the wife reminded me that he also had a $1000 US Currency for I think it was like $1100. and yes his business was in the basement of a house on our main street and is no longer in business.

A $1000 note for $1100? You didn't happen to notice if it was a '28 or '34 did you? Either way, unless it was in terrible shape, a heck of a deal.
