I said it was fake because the characters lack the crispness that I normally see on Japanese coins of this era, especially on the reverse. The loghting and the harsh cleaning this coin has had might be influencing this. I know there are a lot of fakes out there, but there are also a lot of autherntic ones too. I just got a bad gut feeling about this coin, and I have learned to trust that gut feeling for cast Asian coins. Report this Post to the Staff
