InfiniteInterest Pillar of the Community United States 673 Posts	Posted 02/10/2008 2:58 pm Late last year when I heard the Sac's were going to be short minted in 07 and 08, I figured I would suck it up and order some rolls from the mint. I am not in the habit of ordering these rolls since they stopped circulating Kennedy half dollars and Sac dollars and they want over 70 bucks for a two roll set of Sac's. Anyway, since I ordered the Sac's I got some Kennedy's along with them to complete my 110 dollar order for 70 dollars worth of coins...UGH. After purchasing a few single Sac's to get me from 02-06 I realized that 36 dollars a roll may have been a bargain..I may change my strategy there. Back to the coin at hand. When I got my Sac's and Kennedy's I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the coins in all of the rolls, very nice coins , decent strikes and minimal marks. I picked this Kennedy from the Denver roll to test my skills against the graders when I went to the MSNS show this year and submitted 11 coins for grading (2 07's and 9 pre-67). Of the 11 coins I sent in I graded 7 right on, 2 low and 2 high (those are questionable and will be seen later) I could not get the pics to brighten up without getting major reflection off the slab- so good luck ! InfiniteInterest Pillar of the Community United States 673 Posts	Posted 02/10/2008 4:36 pm Those marks are on the coin but they are very very light, you cannot see them without magnification and even then the light has to be just right. Aside from 2 very small dings on his ear and 2 very small dings in the hair (and that invisible otherwise "rub" mark at the mouth) the obverse is nearly flawless but weak near the rim at the end of "Trust". The reverse has one tiny mark on the shield and a couple tiny marks in the fields and weakness at the bottom stars.The rest is just dust on the slab (I always forget to wipe the slab..) I pegged this at 65 and they did surprise me- they must have missed that rub spot :) I am happy with any Kennedy half that grades better than MS-64 !
