1906 Liberty Nickel - Coin Community Forum

Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 03/04/2016 5:51 pm I received this 1906 Liberty nickel today. I bought it as a BU, but am concerned that the hair doesn't look to have full details and that there are what appear to be some faint "slide marks". There isn't any apparent wear to the coin and I have seen V nickels with weakly struck hair. Does it look BU or is it an AU coin? I have a 14 day return. Sorry the photos aren't better, but I had to take them through the seller's 2x2 holder in case I return it. Thanks for your opinions. Paul Bulgerin Report this Post to the Staff
