I got this 1997p quarter from work too that's missing all the clad on the obverse and most of it on the reverse any info and value would be appreciated thanks

It was someone environmental damaged coin that was found outdoors. Note the silver color showing through the coating on the outside of the coin? That tells me the cladding is there just covered. Rub an area on the rim and it will start to show again. If the cladding was missing, the copper color would be darker than what you see.

When the cladding is missing on some coins it make the strike weak because of the thickness missing on the planchet not creating a full strike.
