Hi,

I need help determining if this is double die or not? I look at the six and it looks really missed up. Thanks for your help.

I'm seeing two and it looks like there might be a third one but I'm having a hard time understanding what's going on

That is Die Deterioration. If it were a doubled die, then it would be above the field and not below the field. This happens on the cents a lot. Probably because of the lower profile for the single squeeze dies. Probably the on other side of the coin LIBERTY shows the same thing but on the opposite side of the devices:

The motto will show the same things at the top. Die Deterioration flows to the closest rim. That it is on the sides I mentioned.

It is a worn die and it should read doubled die not double die, just FYI.
