O.K. so the first 2 photo's are of a regular 1967 proof like set. as normal as I have seen for the last 25 years, and I have seen over 100 of these exact sets. the last 3 photos are of a set I have had for years, and just pulled out and I noticed it is completely different than any I have ever seen before.. the coins are proof like for sure. but that are backwards in the plastic, there is no Royal Canadian Mint stamp. it is just stamped uncirculated.. they are not fake as they all pass the magnet test.. please notice the straight lines in the sealing process, in the second set of coins. and did the mint do any testing of plastic sealing products back in the day..
Pretty sure the ones stamped uncirculated are from COTY or one of the other companies putting together sets back in the day. On my screen they sure do NOT look like PL coins . This could be a good thing if the pieces are Gem business strikes as a lot in those sets were.
everybody and their dog created 1967 commemorative sets, you could get them in coffee cans, cereal boxes, from car dealers. the 67 set is probably one of the most prolific sets out there.
