1962 LC Unlisted Double Eyelid Or Took A Hit ?

But you have a well placed coin contact mark on that area (damage) that makes it look like it is a doubled eyelid. Note on the upper area of the lid where it is raised. The metal was pushed more in that direction. I would keep it to show new ones that coin contact can affect a coin after the coin was struck. PSD Report this Post to the Staff

11997755 Pillar of the Community United States 2256 Posts	Posted 03/13/2016 8:24 pm Interesting question. I can't think of a coin that would be thin enough, unless maybe the edge of the rim on a LC. I believe even that is too thick. I found the coin in an OBW roll so I don't think anyone has had an opportunity to hit it with a screwdriver. Would have to be a very small screwdriver. I can import the image into a CAD program and try to get a dimension. (Unless you know of an easier way ?) Report this Post to the Staff
