ace_ftw Pillar of the Community Canada 1747 Posts	Posted 03/14/2016 11:41 am The coin may have not always been sitting on the ground, in fact it was probably under many layers of soil. because of erosion, the soil was removed, and eventually the coin was exposed. I believe that in the middle east there are substantial penalties for removing historical artifacts, she could have been imprisoned or heavily fined if she did not call the appropriate authorities.
