This is fairly common on the four corners of the Memorial. Just a die crack. The best ones to keep are the ones that flow across the whole coin.

Shattered dies:

They all started out as a crack on the die. The continued use of the dies, made them progress into the collectable realm.

Small die cracks are not a big thing. After you have been collecting these for a time, then you will realize that. If you save them, keep them into a tube. My mistake I was saving cent cracks, chips and other oddities in 2X2s. Now I look back and realize I wasted 5 cents on a coin that is worth 1 cent. Live and learn.

First pic looks like split plating along the rim and a die crack lower left on building.Obverse pic looks like a worn die and the start of split plating between Liberty and In.
