As I am quickly learning coop can hopefully answer a question on this 1960 D. Is it possible there is a very faint D above mintmark. I obviously do not have the capabilities of taking excellent photos although is it also possible for this to be a small date/ over large. I have seen the one coop has listed and without posting a clear photo I doubt anyone will be able to determine if this is a small date over large date. What do you as members find best for taking photos of your coins?

I personally use a USB scope I bought online for about $60.00. Heard there are cheaper ones out there that work as good. Has worked great to this point but find myself wanting to spend a little more money for something that will take better images.

Thanks! I have looked at the USB scopes and I do not mind paying more for the quality if 1 in perticular is recommended.

The problem with the cheaper scopes is the plastic lens they use in them. They lack clarity and color that the better scope give. So if you could find an lower priced scope with glass lens, you will be happier with that optic.

24hounddog ,

I agree with the USB microscope as the others have said. And Coop is correct in getting one with glass optics. I use the Celsetron Pro takes pretty good pics and was only 80 bucks on web sites. Happy hunting.
