i recently got moms old money and found a lot of stuff, a old blank penny that weighs the same as the early 1900 pennys I am pretty sure its real also a early V nickel with mild front markings and nothing on the back, just 2 deep straight marks about a quarter inch apart close to the middle and about 3/16 long,,parallel, it is worn but I am sure there was nothing on the back, I have 3 V nickels and the other two is worn but I still can see the v on them with no parallel maks on them, what do you think I would take a picture but all you could see is a faint image of the person on the front.

Not really sure about the cent, but the Liberty nickel sounds like it's either heavily worn, enough so that the reverse was obliterated, or the reverse was ground off sometime after it left the mint. that pictures would help a lot for all the coins.

Rest in Peace

The V nickel was just a heavily worn slick, pictures of the purported planchet were never posted.
