don't laugh, it's paid for :)

Iphone4-And-Homemade-Lightbox

a couple of 5k led bulbs, handful of scrap translucent plexi & my old iPhone4s...

without changing the lighting, and with only minor post processing (gamma correction and a mild sharpen) I am getting good results with silver, copper and brass.

finally it's time to catalog a couple hundred tokens

Looks good and I'd like to add the following URL for anyone interested in several additional iPhone photo tips.:

The battle for me with my 4S remains to be proof silver coins: a true lighting challenge.

this is the best I've achieved for a proof,

trick was to black out the entire top surface so it hid the phone's reflection. while it doesn't show the mirror surface of the fields, it does really make the devices pop out at ya

Wow these are really nice photos! I like your lighting setup! The photos are such high quality. Are you taking them with the camera in landscape mode? I hear that is the way to get the most pixels. I can't seem to get great quality with my iphone 6s AND in 4k landscape mode. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (besides being a lousy photographer.)
