Looks like they walked to Egypt. Nothing special on the 1944 U.S. Cents.

Likely damage on the '59 Canada cent, but would need sharper photos to see what exactly is going on.

I collect world coins, and I have never seen or heard of any master list of the most expensive ones.

In the 20th century alone, there were over 10,000 different types of coins, and if you add all the different years and grades, you have over 1,000,000 bits of data.

I suggest looking over the coins for any silver ones, or any older ones in good shape (70 + years). Of these, find ones that you only have a single example, and post a few here and we can advise you.

Please remember that the average accumulation is going to be 99% common coins.

Just a quick note. Palestine is now an option in the country list. Thank you for pointing it out to us, sniper.

The mark on the 1944 'R' is a contact mark. PSD

Sniper, there are specialized catalogues with varieties of Canadian coins. I don't have one but I know others do. Please be patient and someone can check their catalogue.

The picture of the queen is not good enough, I think, to identify any variety. It might just be contact damage.
