It's Tampa, Not Tampa Bay.... - Coin Community Forum

The major sports teams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Tampa Bay Rays all have Tampa Bay in their name but the city is definitely Tampa. They use Tampa Bay to include surrounding communities, St.Petersburg, Clearwater, and several others in the Tampa Bay area. I am the caretaker for my 89 year old father (Alzheimer's) and work part time at Mercedes Benz of Tampa. I've lived in Tampa since 1966, and love living here. I also love collecting. My collecting hobbies include NASCAR Dale Earnhardt Sr. Memorabilia, vintage metal lunchboxes/thermoses, 19th century Tampa memorabilia, US coins, and paper currency. I am an active member of several paper money forums, including Collectors Universe (PCGS), Collectors Society (PMG), and Coin Talk. I recognize many members here. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm a Florida ex-pat, myself; used to work at the Florida Marine Biology lab on Seahorse Key (off Cedar Key). Moved to Nunavut (actually WI) about a score back.
